My name is Paul Denbow
I have been performing magic for seven years and loved every minute. I’m a member of the MagicCircle and I’m Vice President of the Medway Magical Society.
I have been awarded the Gold Star this is the top honour from Medway Magical Society. My magic has taken over my life as I try to become one of the top entertainers around. I have performed for many people all over England and the continent; I have been filmed for ukliving TV show 4Weddings in 2009. Performed for 5,000 people at the O2 arena, 350 at Gillingham Football Club, In Spanish pubs and clubs and just 10 people at a Birthday party in their home. I have performed for them all, old or young magic can holds such wonders.
People always ask me how I started doing magic and this is a very hard and sad question for me, In 2001 my youngest son past away aged 11. But before Matthew died he had a great interest in magic and had aquired lots of tricks. We both enjoyed magic as we were both big kids at heart and i still am. One night after he had died I got all his magic tricks out from his room and started playing around with them. The next night my wife told me to join a club, well that same night the Medway Magical Society had a advert in the local paper so I became a member. I only found out a year or two later that the advert in the paper had been put in by mistake as the club does not advertise. Well I’m sure you will agree I’m meant to be a magician.
And that’s how I started in magic I told you it’s sad but I think of him every day and lots more when I perform. We now have a young daughter and my life has changed again; well that’s magic.
